U.S.-AFRICA EXCHANGE: Earlier this month at the Washington malpractice law firm of Jack H. Olender & Associates, P.C., Justice Leonard Unyolo of Malawi (left) and D.C. Superior Court Judge Nan Shuker were guests of Washington malpractice lawyer Jack Olender (right), who hosted a reception for the U.S-Africa Judicial Exchange, a project sponsored by the American Bar Association aimed at educating U.S. and African Judges about each other's court systems. During their visit to Washington, twelve judges and attorneys from Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia met with D.C. judges and local lawyers to discuss alternative dispute resolution, court management, the rule of law and judicial independence.
